Our "Thank a Comet" website feature allows you to write a thank you note to a Cardinal student, staff member, parent, or community member.

Tom Lamansky
Thank You Note
Thank you to Tom Lamansky, transportation director. Tom puts in countless hours to ensure Cardinal students make it to and from school safely. He moves snow and clears parking lots at all hours day and night. No matter the issue, Tom is always there to help be the solution. Even after school, when a teacher tries to leave to go home and finds their vehicle with a flat tire, Tom is there with an air compressor to fix it. Thanks for being you, Tom.

He is extremely helpful to parents. He is always quick to respond to emails. He is open and willing to work with students and parents. I just want to tell him how thankful as a parent to have him as a teacher for my son. He goes above and beyond to make sure every student can be successful. Ms. Conway is a first year teacher — yet the level of commitment she shows is enormous. She goes to bat for all students. Ms. Conway has become a household name here at CCSD and I am so thankful for her intentionality with my student. Rylie recognizes, without a shadow of a doubt, that not all students learn the same and some kids, come to school to be loved.

These two are going above and beyond with the school play. Both my children are in the play and they tell me all about their favorite parts. On nights my kids do not have play practice, they are sad. They are doing something right and I am so excited my kids are part of Cardinal's Arts programs.
