Cardinal Community School District, as we look ahead to our scheduled conference date of Thursday, March 10th, the weather is looking like it has the potential to post some challenging situations for transportation. As the admin team, we want to first and foremost keep the safety of our students, staff, and parents our number one priority. With this being said, we are going to switch our conference date/time from Thursday to Wednesday.

Elementary parents will have the option to keep their Thursday conference time and do it on Wednesday at the same time, reschedule to a different time on Wednesday that is available, or do a Zoom conference with their teacher on Thursday. Secondary conferences that are not scheduled ahead of time, will have open conference hours on Wednesday until 8 pm. Secondary teachers will also be available to Zoom.

As always, if there are issues with this change, please contact your teacher or building office so we can help problem solve and find an acceptable time for you to get your conference in with our teachers. We know this is an inconvenience, and we want to apologize. We thank you for your flexibility and know that we are here to answer any questions and to problem-solve with you. Thank you again and WE ARE CARDINAL.

Key Points

My real endorsement of Cardinal Schools and its faculty and staff can be seen each morning when I hand them the one irreplaceable and most valuable thing in my life: my kids. No letter I write could be a greater endorsement than that simple act. I give them my kids, and I do it with a huge smile on my face because I trust them to do what they are most outstanding at: building our future.
