New Cardinal MS/HS Physical Education teacher Megan Black-Campion with her husband and three small children.

posted September 14, 2026

Megan Black-Campion joins us this year to teach MS/HS Physical Education. This is Mrs. Campion's first year teaching, and we're so happy to have her with us! We asked her some questions so you could get to know her a bit before the school year begins.

Why did you want to teach at Cardinal?
I have heard great things about the staff and culture at Cardinal, as well as I live in the district.

What do you like about teaching physical education?
I am passionate about teaching kids about living a healthy lifestyle.

What is your favorite part of teaching?
I haven't had the chance to teach yet, but I'm guessing it will be growing the students' confidence in their physical abilities.

What is your ultimate goal as a teacher?
To teach students healthy habits (physically, mentally, emotionally) that will last far beyond their time in school.

What do you hope students take away from your class this year?
I hope students take away that exercise is not a punishment, but a chance to improve their mood, confidence, and overall health.

Fun Facts/Hobbies:
I love spending time with my 3 little girls and husband, Zach. Whether it be boating, farming, fishing, or hunting, I just love living life with them.

From our first interaction with the staff at Cardinal schools, we felt at home. The entire staff is amazing and we feel that we have a trusted partner in our children’s education. The greatest testament to their success is that our kids love going to school. There is nothing more welcoming as a parent than to have a school that you trust to take care of the most precious thing in your life. Cardinal School District does just that.
