Miss Hannah Simpson, new Cardinal Gear Up Coordinator.

posted September 9, 2026

Hannah Simpson joins us this year as the Gear Up Coordinator! This is Miss Simpson's first year. We asked her some questions so you could get to know her a bit before the school year begins.

Why did you want to teach at Cardinal?
I wanted to work at Cardinal because I wanted to make a positive impact on students and help them prepare for life after high school. As the Gear Up Coordinator, I get to build relationships with students, support their goals, and help them explore their future opportunities.

What do you like about working with high school students?
I like working with high school students because I enjoy building relationships with them and helping them prepare for their future. I love being able to support their goals and help them see the opportunities available to them after graduation.

What is your favorite part of teaching?
My favorite part is building relationships with students and helping them reach their goals and prepare for their future.

What is your ultimate goal as a teacher?
My ultimate goal is to help students believe in themselves, reach their goals, and feel prepared for their future.

What do you hope students take away from your class this year?
I hope students leave feeling confident in themselves, motivated about their future, and prepared for what comes next.

Fun Facts/Hobbies:
I’m a former D1 softball player, so I love all things sports! Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, traveling, and being outdoors. I also love coaching softball and helping young athletes reach their goals.

My real endorsement of Cardinal Schools and its faculty and staff can be seen each morning when I hand them the one irreplaceable and most valuable thing in my life: my kids. No letter I write could be a greater endorsement than that simple act. I give them my kids, and I do it with a huge smile on my face because I trust them to do what they are most outstanding at: building our future.
