New Cardinal Elementary Special Education Teacher Mrs. Jaime Cooper.

Jaime Cooper joins us this year to teach elementary special education. Mrs. Cooper has been teaching for five years, and we are so excited to have her on our team! We asked her some questions so you could get to know her a bit before the school year begins. 

Why did you want to teach at Cardinal?
Cardinal is a great school. Plus, my daughter is a PreK teacher there and my son has attended Cardinal since 2019.

What do you like about teaching elementary special education?
I love helping students achieve their best.

What is your favorite part of teaching?
Seeing that "ah-ha" moment when a lesson clicks.

What is your ultimate goal as a teacher?
To help children grow and be ready for their next step.

What do you hope students take away from your class this year?
I hope that each student grows and learns so much this school year and that they really enjoy learning.

Fun Facts/Hobbies:
I play Dungeons & Dragons with my husband and son and we have a lot of fun with that. I also have 3 cats: Ali, Lily, and Goblin. I also have a LOT of hobbies: papercraft (with my Cricut), 3d printing, diamond art.
