Meet New District Substitute Mrs. Lindeen!
posted September 11, 2025
We are so glad to have Stephanie Lindeen joining our team this year as a district substitute! Mrs. Lindeen has been teaching for 33 years! We asked her questions so that you can get to know her a bit before the school year begins.
Why did you want to teach at Cardinal?
I retired from Davis County in May after 33 years of teaching. In July, panic hit and I realized that I wasn't finished teaching yet. This opportunity came up and I'd always heard of what a great environment Cardinal has and wanted to become a part of it.
What do you like about being a district substitute?
I like the variety of classes I will get to be in and all of the students I will get to meet.
What is your favorite part of teaching?
I love being around kids of all ages - I like to see the world through their eyes and watch them learn and grow.
What is your ultimate goal as a teacher?
To be someone students will remember in a positive way.
Fun Facts/Hobbies:
I am blessed to be called Memaw by three of the greatest grandchildren ever - Eva, Paige, and Brent. I got remarried last September. I'm a campground host at Lake Wapello. I have two very spoiled dogs - Sid and Sissy.
