iJAG Career Development Conference

group of iJAG students at the career development conference

From left to right: Paityn Carnes, Ava Heemsbergen, Landon Gordy, Drakan Swain, Cody Birlson and Lily Van Trump.

These Students competed against 300 other iJAG High School Programs in the state. Landon, Ava and Paityn competed in the L.O.V.E. Project. They spoke about the negative effects of social media on kids. Cody, Drakan and Lily took place in the PBL Showcase where they presented about the positive impact of iJAG in their career and college readiness. Although they did not place in the Nationals, these students represented Cardinal Community in a very professional and positive manner. I am beyond proud of these students.

My real endorsement of Cardinal Schools and its faculty and staff can be seen each morning when I hand them the one irreplaceable and most valuable thing in my life: my kids. No letter I write could be a greater endorsement than that simple act. I give them my kids, and I do it with a huge smile on my face because I trust them to do what they are most outstanding at: building our future.
