In addition to being named an Iowa Top Workplace for the seventh year in a row through Energage, Cardinal CSD has also earned the Top Workplaces Education Industry Award, along with Cultural Excellence Awards for Employee Appreciation, Professional Development, and Employee Well-Being.

The Top Workplaces Education Industry Award celebrates organizations that have built people-first workplace cultures within their sector, while the Cultural Excellence Awards recognize organizations that excel in specific areas of workplace culture:

"It's an honor to be recognized in these award categories — especially because it's all based on employee feedback," says Mr. Craig, Cardinal CSD superintendent. "We're thankful to all of our employees for participating in this year's staff survey that led us here."

Top Workplaces are awarded based on anonymous employee engagement surveys that measure how employees feel about workplace values, employee appreciation and development, productivity and retention, leadership, and more. This year’s survey results had record participation.

"We're proud to continue to be a Top Workplace for our employees and look forward to another year of using our team's feedback to continue to improve and support our team members," Mr. Craig says.

Here's to another year of Top Workplace excellence!

My real endorsement of Cardinal Schools and its faculty and staff can be seen each morning when I hand them the one irreplaceable and most valuable thing in my life: my kids. No letter I write could be a greater endorsement than that simple act. I give them my kids, and I do it with a huge smile on my face because I trust them to do what they are most outstanding at: building our future.
