Request Information

Cardinal Preschool is a full-day, 4-day-a-week program housed inside Cardinal Elementary. We serve 3- and 4-year-old students in this program. Currently, we have four 3-year-old classrooms and four 4-year-old classrooms. Cardinal has a partnership with Sieda Head Start and is funded through Sieda Head Start, Early Childhood Iowa, and the Cardinal Community School District.

Our teachers provide and implement research-based early childhood curriculums while also incorporating lessons to instill social and emotional growth.

Students in both the 3-year-old and 4-year-old programs are taught musicart, and PE by our licensed Cardinal teachers. Students in our preschool program also get to experience field trips, special guests, and assemblies with the rest of the building. There is no charge for Cardinal preschool services, and meals and snacks are provided.

Thank you for considering Cardinal! We look forward to providing a wonderful preschool experience for your child!

Sincerely,
Heather Buckley
Elementary Principal

From our first interaction with the staff at Cardinal schools, we felt at home. The entire staff is amazing and we feel that we have a trusted partner in our children’s education. The greatest testament to their success is that our kids love going to school. There is nothing more welcoming as a parent than to have a school that you trust to take care of the most precious thing in your life. Cardinal School District does just that.
