The Cardinal Community School District Board of Directors has voted to pause open enrollment into the district. The board’s decision comes after consideration of Iowa’s new law, allowing open enrollment any time during the school year. Students who are already open enrolled and are currently attending Cardinal will not be affected. |
Please be aware that the federal waiver that provided free lunch and breakfast for all students for the past two years has not been extended for the 2022-2023 school year. Students will be charged for breakfast and lunch when they return to school in August. |
