P.P.E.L. Vote - March 2

The Physical Plant and Equipment Levy (P.P.E.L.) is up for renewal and on the ballot for the March 2, 2021 Special Election.

Things to Know:

P.P.E.L. is an extension of the levy that the district has had in place for 20 years. This is not a new tax levy.
The $1.34 P.P.E.L. is a voter-approved property tax levy.
82% of Iowa School Districts have a voter approved P.P.E.L.

Polling Locations

Polls will be open from 7 am to 8 pm at the following locations:

Davis, Van Buren, and Wapello County Residents

Agency Community Center (102 W. Main Street)
Eldon Library Hall (608 W. Elm Street)

Jefferson County Residents

Batavia Community Center (1006 3rd Street)

The deadline for open enrollment (grades 1-12) is today, March 1. If you or a friend are interested in enrolling a child at Cardinal CSD, please submit your application before the end of the school day.
