Cardinal preschool is a full day, 4 day a week program housed inside Cardinal Elementary. We serve 3 and 4 year old students in this program. Currently, we have one 3 year old room and 2 4 year old classrooms. Cardinal has a partnership with SIEDA Headstart. Our 3 year old program stays in the same classroom the whole day. Our 4 year old program is a split day; students will have a SIEDA Headstart teacher for half the day and a Cardinal preschool teacher for the other half of the day. Students in both the 3 year old and 4 year old program are taught Music, Art, and PE by our licensed, Cardinal teachers. Students in our preschool program also get to experience the field trips, special guests, and assemblies that the rest of the building gets to participate in. There is no charge for Cardinal preschool services and meals and snacks are also provided.
We do not have preschool classes on Fridays, however daycare will be offered to those students who need it. There will be a cost of $2.00 per hour and students must be signed up in advance for this service. We also offer before and after school daycare for the same price.
