Welcome to Cardinal Community School District. Our district is dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for all children. First and foremost, we are committed to support every child in gaining the necessary skills and knowledge to be successful adult. Our district personnel work hand-in-hand with parents and the community to provide learning opportunities for children to reach their maximum potential.
We have a wide variety of quality academic and extracurricular programs designed to meet our district's mission of providing an educational environment that cultivates maximum student potential. Our schools are fully involved in implementing the Gradual Release of Responsibility Framework, a researched based method of providing instruction. The district will focus on this framework over the next 3-5 years. We are also proud of the 1 to 1 computer initiative. This initiative provides an Apple laptop computer for all students in grades 6-12. Technology is infused into instruction at all grade levels.
Faculty, staff and administration at Cardinal Community School District foster communities of lifelong learners, and together we strive to be guided by learning research in giving every child an opportunity to succeed in a safe, nurturing environment.
